Today’s weekly weigh-in has me a bit stunned…The scales read their lowest ever at 14st! I was so shocked I even had to take a piccy (note I always use scientific rounding on the last bit
)
And I thought it was all going the wrong way! Worse than thinking it, the recent weight plateau (and probably the fact it’s got cold again) meant I lost interest a bit and got a bit complacentĀ with regards to food, not very bad, just put more on my plate than I needed to and snacked.
Feeling very good and very incentivised to be better with my diet. I can’t wait for the day when there’s a 13 in my weight again (and not 14st 13lbs!).
Fingers crossed my good day continues as I’m about to take the Land Rover for an MoT (she’s 38 years old this year!). Whilst out I’m going to look at potential replacements for my regular car as that goes in June – currently the only thing that’s a must have is the option for a towball so I can get a decent bike rack. I ordered the new bike yesterday and I’m not sure it’s the sort of thing I want to chuck in the back of the car like I currently do!
Well done that man ![]()
Chuffed for you. Hope LaaLaa goes through ok, as for a new car pah, I wouldn’t know where to start!
Hurrah! Well done Old Bean!
Small update: Wifey measured me this morning at 5′9¼”, barefooted, hard surface. I’ve not measured my height in maybe 20+ years and always thought I was 5′8″.
Incidentally, doesn’t matter what height, I’m now classed as overweight not obese on the BMI crapometer. Don’t give it much credit at all, but it’s still a milestone.
I’m 5′ 8 and a 1/2″, the 1/2 an inch is vital… Vicar
5′9″, I reckon I’m about that … Round the waist
I do think the bmi scale is a load of toss, but that’s really all we have to go on, I personally use it as a bit of a guide, I know just the way I feel that I’m morbidly obease, one day I hope to feel / look about right
